Alice Sunderland
Alice Sunderland is a very talented jewelry designer who always uses diamonds in her designs.
I created a whole new identity for her brand. That included a new logo, corporate identity and a new website.
The logo design shows two diamonds shaped together as a heart. Which stands for her love for her profession and her roots, Friesland (the flag of Friesland consists of 7 hearts).
The website had to be a place where the visitor steps in to the world of Alice Sunderland.
CODE Magazine – Digitalized
Fashion, Lifestyle magazine CODE asked me to produce and design the first ever digital version of the magazine.
NeighbourFood Market
NeighbourFood Market is a new venture in Amsterdam. A market every 3rd sunday of the month. Where people can come together to catch up, have a drink and most important to have a bite. All good-food entrepreneurs of the city come to the market to sell the most delicious food and drinks.
We did the branding for the market and we also designed the website.

Run2Day Digital Magazine
For Super Troopers I produced the first online version of the Run2Day magazine.
Run2Day is a well known specialized store for runners in Holland. The runner community is very big, but there wasn’t any good platform for them. That’s why Super Troopers and Run2Day store initiated a new runners magazine, Run2Day Magazine. Now sold at magazine stands and supermarkets.
I helped SuperTroopers with the structure and visual concept of the magazine. A year later I produced the online version of the magazine.

de Soete Moeder – Branding
De Soete Moeder is going to be a really special place in Den Bosch. A nice, comfortable place to sleep, drink and eat. The keywords are quality and sustainability. Based in a former monastery, the hotel is going to be a relaxing place in the middle of Den Bosch. Where people can enjoy a nice breakfast, a walk in the monastery garden or a delicious dinner.
de Soete Moeder is also going to be a place where young people from the neighbourhood can learn the tricks of the trade in the hotel industry.
We did the branding and designed the website www.desoetemoeder.nl
CODE Magazine – Styled Life
CODE is a fashion and lifestyle magazine published in Amsterdam. But sold in newsstands worldwide.
I did Art Direction and Production for a new permanent feature; Styled Life. For Styled Life I collected the newest and hottest products. Every spread had its own theme; Entertainment, Travel and Pleasure
Ebook covers Sterk & Swaen
Two Dutch psychologists, Fred Sterk and Sjoerd Swaen, asked me to design a serie of Ebook covers for their positive self motivation books. Their office is located in Scheveningen (a beachtown), therefore they have a strong connection with the sea. And asked me to intergrate that in the designs because the sea is always a good place to self reflect.
Young Talent Trophy logo
ANB Amro bank and the Richard Kraijcek Foundation initiated a tennis tournament for young kids named the Young Talent Trophy. They needed a logo that is appealing to the young target group but still looks professional and serious enough for the investors.
I’ve designed this logo on behalf of Pootentieel.
Reebok
For Reebok europe i mostly worked on global digital presentations.
But i also designed some instore materials and created several print designs for womens sports wear.
+ I.D
I designed a logo and corporate identity for F.H.M. van der Gugten an Accountancy agency located in Maastricht, the Netherlands.
The most important keyword for the agency is transparency. Thats why I chose to layer the see through objects so it created a +, the symbol that all accountants are familiar with.
Storm
Storm creative agency asked me to design a new website. Based on the corporate identity i design for them before.
Impact I.D.
I designed a new logo and business card for Vancouver based management and consultancy agency, Impact.
Illustrations
I designed this hand drawn typography illustration to print it as a poster.

Rabobank Magazine
Rabobank de Liemers wanted a new fresh face for there monthly magazine. So I came up with a fitting concept for a new name and appearance. The name ‘Direct’ stands for the close contact they try to have with their clients. The visual concept is very clean and light to carry out their professional and open image.

A marriage brings two people together for the rest of their lives.
I was very honored to design the wedding invitation for two good friends of mine.
This invitation design literally brings Steve and Dolly together by pulling on the two red strings.
The rest of the design is a nice combination of traditional and modern styles.
The invitation was inspiration for the rest of the wedding details.
Double Juice
Unlock the Secret
For Sportlife chewing gum we created a promotional campaign.
Sportlife is the market leader in the Netherlands. To stay ahead of the competition we wanted to interact with the consumer. That’s why we developed an online quest. Every Sportlife chewing gum package gave the consumer access to a new clue. The consumer had to solve the clues in video’s or on Wikipedia or Google maps. The more clues they solve the closer they got to the prize, the ultimate experience.

Hi, I’m Marloes Versluys currently working as Art Director and Graphic Designer in Hamburg, Germany. I started my career in Amsterdam as an
Art Director working for advertising agencies such as Euro RSCG, Storm CA and JWT Amsterdam. In 2008 I started working as a freelancer.
As a freelancer I’m able to work on all kinds of projects I love.
These projects vary from identity design to illustration, and from communication concepts to editorial design.
